These are much more lightweight than your typical pyrex glass measuring cup.

This jug will enable me to make mayonnaise because it is light weight and has a tiny spout through which I can add olive oil one drop at a time. It will replace my other glass measuring cup which is heavy and has a wide spout. I purchased all three sizes. They are an elegant solution to many delicate cooking tasks!
