Seals Surf Whitewater Skirt

Nice skirt for beginners.

I’ve purchased 2 of these skirts for my beginner teenage sons in the past month. The skirt is dry, easy to stretch over the cockpit rim and easy to pop. The neoprene is high quality as is the stitching, bungee and high visibility grab loop. This is a great first skirt or even a decent class III play boating skirt if you don’t need the security of a rand. I wish it had a bit of reinforced fabric around the edges to protect against paddle nicks, but at around $100 no complaints.

Very well made, fits well, warm and dry. It’s harder to pop with the handle than I’d like, but I think that’s more about the foaming of my boat.

Fits great. Minimal leakage and only during rolls. Great overall value.
