Taller than expected

I bought these in a Medium based on my Euro shoe size of 42.5 (US 9.5) and although they seemingly fit my feet (the heel of the sock sits on my heel), they are taller than I expected and aren’t as efficient at standing up on my legs as other socks; all sock sizes in the photo are marketed as fitting my feet and the Ornot socks have a bit more foot length and much more leg height. I’ve had similar experiences with other thinner socks, so this may just be par for the course. If I get another pair in the future I’ll go with a size Small and see if it fits better for me.
