I have long straight hair that resembles a birds nest after shampooing and before I brush the conditioner through it. The wet brush has been a game changer for me. What used to take an age to do now takes around a minute without breakage to my hair and no pain! I imagine that any hair type would benefit from this brush.

I have super tangled hair and this brush is great at getting those knots out without the pain, would definitely recommend
