55L Chilly Ice Box, The Long Weekend Standard

I first used this cooler on a week-long camping trip and loved it! Ice lasts days longer than my former cooler. I plan to get another, smaller one, next year to separate drinks from food so the food cooler is opened less often and the ice lasts even longer. Supprt Canadian!

I got it because we often lose power for days at a time in the Winter. So it is the sit on the covered porch cooler that takes the overload of fresh veggies in the Summer and the Winter cooler that gets packed with ice at the approach of a big Wind Storm. I am very glad I have a well made Canadian cooler option.

Very good product and especially because its from a Canadian company. I've been a camper a whole lot of years (I'm old) and this has to be the biggest splurge, but I'm at the age where quality is feasible and desired. I particularly like the option of being able to lock it with the lock of my choosing not from the herd of humans looking for beverages, but from the other wildlife that don't particularly need my supplies. There are built in holes to secure it. The cooler is reliable and keeps things cold longer. Have you seen the price of ice these days?? As well the colour is great not just because I'm fashionable (I do walk my dog around in PJs in the morning don't judge me) but because it stands out, no more "oh I thought that was my cooler" lines while they are drinking my slightly tasty water drink. Highly recommend. Racoons are not indulging in my beverages just sayin..... The only reason I held back one star is because it is heavy, is that a fault, no. Its just a result of good engineering and what it takes to be great.
