These are everything I hoped they would be. I wore the ones with the ‘yellow stitching’ 😏 back in the 80’s and these are more like that quality than the ones you can buy now. I wear them with a hillwalking sock and they are very comfortable, with no sign of any heel-rub so far. Worth every penny. The picture shows them straight out of the box, I haven’t polished them yet.
