The bag used a reversible zipper, which I was not able to find. The zipper that could have worked was over $10, and I found the directions a bit imtimidating on the zipper part, so I decided to skip the zipper and used bias tape to sew the bag pieces together instead. I used velcro to keep the size of the bag closed. I made 6 bags altogether, all 6 were different fabrics so our girls would like the variety. We took 4 of our AG girls camping with us last week in NM. They stayed nice and toasty in their own little tent and bags. I will be making more of the bags soon, and again, using the bias tape instead of zippers. Definately recommend this pattern. It is bigger than a commerical sleeping bag (such as the OG one).
