I used the Selma 4.0mm Fid for making eye splices in 1/8" Samson Premium Amsteel Blue Rope. It worked perfectly, and made creating a proper eye spice an easy task.

All-In-One
I could only find full sets for sale anywhere else; since you'll usually only need one for a project-- these are great. Also, no need for a D-splicer or wire & needle.
