Stock F150 handling is not great. The damping coefficient is way too low resulting in excessive body movement and bottoming. The Bilstein 6112/5160 combination transformed the trucks drivability. The 5160 damping in the rear could be a little higher, the 6112s in front are perfect.

2023 4Runner “Nose Dive” remedied!

I installed this Bilstein setup on a 2023 4Runner whose owner was unhappy with the performance of the stock TRD suspension. These struts/springs addressed the overly soft front suspension which allowed the front of the vehicle to dive under any breaking. This new setup was also not overly harsh as was a concern in shopping for something stiffer than stock. Instructions were well written, and installation was a breeze. The staff was helpful in answering my questions in regard to Toyotas KDSS system as well. Thanks!
