I have a set of seat shields already, and also bought a set for my son's car....years ago. We have been frequent road race runners and hikers, and I also do road trips, including with children...and with the seat shields I am ok with myself and front-seat passengers eating and snacking while we are riding. My car has light-colored fabric seats, and after 10 years, they still look like new. It would be nice to have a comparable product for my rear seat, as I often end up putting things on those seats and a seat shield would be good there too. I recently acquired a 2000 Mazda Miata, and while the seats are somewhat worn, I had been switching the shields from car to car, so decided to buy a second set. I did not realize that I was not buying the same product. The "value" covers that arrived were somewhat disappointing in their texture and flexibility. they are stiff and do not drape the same as the ones I have...which have the velour-like surface and the obviously waterproof backing. I decided to keep the one I had opened and return the other one, but then decided it was not worth the bother since that is an occasional-use car. I am trusting that these are also waterproof as described, although they are not apparently so like my others which are obviously a higher-end product.

This is my 2nd seat shield. My first one wore out after 15+ years so I figured it was time for a new one. I love that it is a little larger than my first one. Thank you for a great product. I highly recommend them.
