Challenging but worth it.

Instructions do not make clear acceptable cleaning products for washing discs. Disks are vulnerable to bending. In order to prevent bendIng I now wash the disks with Branch Basics (no dairy equipment cleaner) and immediately replace disks into “top bowl”. “Top bowl” does not translate in English to describe the cone shape disk holder. These are all the issues I have learned through trial and error.

Cream Separator

Good communication when I emailed Homestead Supplier with questions. As for the cream separator. I”m happy with it so far. We’ll see how it holds up in the long run. Right now I’m separating around 30 gallons a week.
