Our Old Bush Honey Orchid Phoenix is exceptionally special, expertly crafted and is one of my favourite Phoenix Oolongs’ that I have found so far during my 10 plus years of tea sourcing trips. Naturally fruity, peachy and floral with a slightly earthy undertone of small tree branches with round and deep mouth feel.

This is a very fine wulong dan cong. Best to steep it in a traditional Chinese teapot (instead of a gaiwan), as its steeping time is longer than usual (2-3 mins, as indicated) in order to preserve the heat. You won‘t find any astringency, attesting to the quality of this product. The tea leaves already project their peachy smell in a warmed teapot, and the taste is your typical MI Lan Xiang. Allow a great number of infusions. Wonderful tea, to sum it up.

Truly outstanding tea worth every penny. This level of tea quality is a rarity in London.
