Pretty cool but…

These skate guards are pretty cool, but they barely fit on my skates and I am size 8 skate. I have to really work to get these things on my skates. Wondering how people with bigger skates fit these on? Wish they were bigger so I could get them on comfortably without having to put in effort to put them on.
