Keychain fine, very disappointed in earrings

I Purchased quite a few items to bring home. Keychains and book marks made great little souvenirs. However, I was very disappointed in the jewelry I purchased. Everything was safely packed in sturdy boxes in store and by be when packing for returning home. The Koa, abalone earrings fell apart today when I took them off packaging to wear for Mother’s Day , and one of the 2 Koa abalone bracelets I purchased had a clasp break the first time my friend wore it . Fortunately, she is handy and was able to repair it. Still, she shouldn’t have had to after I paid $38 . I loved shopping in your store, and it seemed quality would be better than the cheaper “ souvenir shops”. I would love to hop on a plane to return it to beautiful Hawaii, but it’s not an option. I apologize for complaining, but this review request came today, same day I was excited to wear the earrings.

I bought 3 of these

I'd like to say that this company is super responsive, and even sent me three more after I sent them photos of what went wrong with all three of the others. Basically I bought them as gifts, as I'm from the Big Island but living in Washington. Gave one to a friend in Montana, two to friends in Washington. In all three of the pieces, the koa wood didn't stay secure, and either fell out or warped. They keychains themselves held up great, but the koa wood didn't. They sent me three more when I sent them an email with photos. Of the six of these I received, all of them warped or fell out. Might need to treat the wood differently, or use thicker pieces so they don't warp, and also secure them by more than just one spot on the inside. Again, love the company, product just didn't last beyond a couple weeks.
