Chavant Clay - NSP Soft (Brown / Terracotta)

So much better than water based clay as I can work on it without the mess and it doesn't dry out. It is best to cover with plastic though when not in use, as it will oxidise and harden slightly over time otherwise. It can be softened by working small amounts in your fingers, but if I'm doing a longer session, I warm the block between two hot water bottles for 20 minutes beforehand. This softens it to a perfect consistency for easy sculpting.
