Sun star 8cu compared to Steca 12v fridge/freezer

I’m happy with the new SunStar’s performance as a fridge, but the compressor is louder and vibrates more than the 12 year old Steca unit it replaces. An indication of the actual inside temperature would be good - at a setting of 2 (cold) it froze items in the bottom of the compartment.
