The holes in the sifters are too big for the fine sand I have in my tray. Sand runs out as fast as it is put in. The edges of the sifter does not allow any sand to go through, thus allowing sand to get carried out of the tray. Most of the children I see in my practice try this softer once then discard it in favor of finer mesh sifters.

Would love to see them purchasable in sets of 2. For a small family, 2 would be plenty.

Jurassic Sand multi-colored sieves

I thought that they’d be fun to use, but my young grandsons, ages 3 and 4, weren’t very interested in using them. I’ve used them to get rocks out of the sand that the boys put into the sand so the sieves helped me. I think older children would be more interested in experimenting with the sieves. I love the sand and all my grandchildren love the playing in the sand. The only thing from me buying again is the price even though I do understand why it has to be more expensive than the sand one may purchase at a big box store.
