P2 Volvo - 500mi review

Cat + stock resonator. The muffler provided a very deep sound. Loud enough to hear but almost no high end. Fairly quiet in the cabin. It sustains peak noise once I go 80+. Overall, satisfied but I may remove the resonator for more high end noise, personally.

I'm Impressed

I have a 2001 Mazda B2500 2.5L I4 and somehow it made that car sound cool (to me). Comparing it to no muffler, it's a little bit quieter than what I was expecting but it still has the low rumble that you get with no muffler, and it got rid of drone in the cabin. Basically it helps to filter the really harsh noise that you'd want to get rid of but your car will still be heard before it's seen. After all, it's a straight pipe but quieter Because this is a universal part make sure to do your measurements before considering it (if you DIY)! I'm sure it would sound way cooler on a sports car/muscle car but don't be afraid to put it on your daily driver. For less than $50 it's a good and affordable option if you're considering a new sound for your ride.

Glasspack

Love it, deleted the resonator and welded the Glasspack in its place and ordered a muffler delete kit which helps with ground clearance due to lack of the huge stock muffler. Looks like an expensive cat back exhaust that’s basically high clearance exhaust.
