It may be waterproof but a dog can easily bite through the collar. It’s rubber, so I feel that it is not comfortable for the dog as my dog was constantly trying to scratch at it . I have an 8 lb dog and she did not want that on her. It doesn’t support the dog in the correct way and I think that is a problem.
