My favorite face sunscreen

I have been using this face sunscreen for years and had to switch to substitutes more recently while it was unavailable. I was so happy when it finally came back in stock! I’ve tried several other sunscreens by Solara Suncare but nothing comes close to theTime Traveler. It goes on like a moisturizer and doesn’t leave a white residue but the best part is it’s sweat-proof which is exactly what I need for my runs in the California summer heat.

I really like this moisturizing SPF! I have dry skin, so I apply it over moisturizer and allow time for it to absorb into skin. There may be a slight white cast initially but it definitely fades and leaves my skin dewey and glowing. A little bit goes a long way, so if I’m heavy-handed and my skin gets too dewey, I blot face with soft tissue and it still leaves a great glow on face. I’ve tried so many mineral sunscreens and this is the best so far. All mineral SPFs leave a white cast however Solara Time Traveler leaves only a subtle white cast and if you’re patient and give it time to absorb, it will fade and leave your skin glowing. I used to purchase Solara from a specific department store however the last tube I bought, the ingredients separated and I couldn’t use and returned it to department store. I now purchase directly from Solara as I think they rotate their product to keep it fresh, the consistency is more lotion-like when I open it. In addition, this SPF is EWG verified, so the ingredients are clean and you can’t get much better than that!
