Maybe I just have feet on the smaller end of the size range, but the summer socks stay up better

Perfect! They don't tighten like many socks that cut off your circulation and are unbearable... I use them for everything, even for sports, since your blood circulates! It would be a success if they also made them athletic, low for the tennis shoes, the same style without changing the pattern but low.
