Couldn't have asked for a better service

I came across James' aptly-named website (Home of Tone) by chance, during my search for a solution to a long-standing tonal deficiency with my 2012 Deluxe Stratocaster. I was initially uncertain which choice of harness might best serve my needs, but I discovered the website has all the technical information necessary, along with very helpful explanations of any additional details that might crop up, to help me make the right choice. Having emailed James to establish some additional points (I'm a lefty) I discovered he's every bit as friendly and helpful as his website suggests. I can't recommend him enough for his professionalism and let's state categorically, the quality of this kit far exceeded my expectation. It's no exaggeration to say it literally transformed my guitar from something I'd almost written off to the instrument I'd always believed it should be. James obviously knows his stuff and I can heartily recommend him as a trusted source of knowledge and high-quality product, all done with a very friendly and accommodating manner. 5/5

Spot on!

This is one of 3 pre-wired harnesses I have bought from James. It has really brought more life into my Strat and actually sounds louder than before! I went for the blender option to add some versatility to the tones I can make. The blend is quite subtle and creates some nice, usable sounds. The quality of wiring and soldering is flawless on the sets I have received, and every purchase has come with a handwritten note from James which is a nice personal touch! I would recommend this and any of the wiring harnesses made by James.
