I was happy with potting mix. It was easy to use. My orchid looks like it is responding favorably.

I have humid summers and dry winters but inside is usually mostly dry because of air conditioning and I like having mostly sphagnum moss for this reason to keep it moist until the next watering every week and the chunky media to keep things still porous and airy.
