The tape has a very strong chemical odor and I have to store the tape in a sealed container to contain the harsh smell.

It works well for our needs. We ship lots 25-50 lb boxes. The only negative is you need to rub once it is on the box to make sure it will stay in place after a couple of hours. It is not the strongest tape nor the stickiest but the price makes it a very good value. I have bought 5 times and will continue to buy.

Good Value

This is a medium weight tape that works very well for us. We can use it on 80-90% of our shipments (We use a much thicker tape for the balance). The only drawback is that some rolls we have to rub over the tape with our hands several times as it comes loose after a couple of hours. Will buy again. Free shipping is a Giant Plus
