An Advent Retreat with Mary

I bought the mp3 digital and copied to my iPhone. I am lifelong Catholic wife and mother in my 50’s and a study of history as well as my Faith. So imagine my surprise to discover amazing new information about what it was like for Mary and what is known of her, things I didn’t understand in the past now explained with history. I and my girlfriends drove around Christmas shopping listening to this in the truck. We enjoyed it very much and felt like we pumped up our Advent with Mary! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it was a bit solemn in tone and sometimes monotone in parts like a lecture. I would have preferred a bit more energy but it still had momentum and enthusiasm. We old moms can use as much as we can get during the holidays! It is well worth the price to get an accurate, new perspective on the annunciation, visitation, and nativity and all Mary went through. Two thumbs up.
