Too small, couldn't exchange

I have small but wide feet, so I originally ordered these boots in a size EU 38/US 7. They were too big, so I exchanged them for an EU 37/US 6. Unfortunately, after wearing the smaller pair around my house for about 45 minutes to make sure they fit, I realized they were too small. My feet and toes had started to go numb for how tight they were, and the cuffs were rubbing my calves raw. I contacted Merry People to exchange them one final time for my original size, but I was told that because I had already worn them (even briefly indoors) they would not accept the exchange. I genuinely don't know how you're supposed to determine if a pair of boots fit without wearing them around the house for a little while, but that's the policy they follow for exchanges and returns. If you have small but wide feet like I do, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I ended up spending $140 on boots that I can't comfortably wear and wasn't able to exchange for the correct size. Unfortunately, they just weren't worth it for me.

True half-sizes that are a perfect fit!

As a true in-between-er in sizes, I was searching for a perfect water repellant, quick step in, Chelsea bootie for my morning walks with my pup. Frustrated at the "only whole size" brand I coveted, I couldn't find the perfect fit, until Merry People! When these shoes arrived, I was worried about the fit since my attempts with Hunter failed miserably as I am a perfect 6.5...I cautiously slipped my foot in and to my surprise, not only was it true to the sizing chart but they were extremely comfortable and I wouldn't need my custom insoles! Merry people's Bobbi Rain Boot keeps my feet dry in the heavy morning dew on my early walks with my dog and are stylish to boot! My socks are bone dry every morning and these have held up wonderfully even after getting caked in mud. And clean up as good as new! I've been truly happy with this purchase and wasn't really expecting fashion compliments at the dog park, but I have been happy to accept them as they come! Trust me, you will too! :)
