A Beautiful Colonial Design

This pattern has been on my wish list for a long time, and this week I finally purchased it and gave View A a go! The construction of the dress is simple with only three main bodice pieces, yet beautifully fitted and finished with a neat lining. The detailing on the bodice and sleeves is what really sets this design apart. All the instructions were clear and straightforward. The fichu and cap really complete the outfit. I added a ruffle and a petticoat underneath the skirt to give it the proper fullness.
