Weird dimensions

I have pretty large thoroughbreds and I ordered a full. The pieces that clip onto the saddle are just long enough while the strap that attaches to the girth is so long I had to shorten it myself by about a third. It’s a nice breastplate for the price but I don’t know what kind of horse it’s designed to fit?
