The length of the blade is good,but didn't like the shape of it. I reground it to a spear point.

Great skinning knife

Great knife !!! I have used an Opinel No. 10 Carbon Steel for over 35 years. After using mine again this deer season I purchased another simply to put up as I’ve found that those things I really like are often discontinued. My use is for cleaning (skinning, butchering, etc.) my deer after harvesting them. I like the carbon steel blade as it is easy to sharpen and holds an edge well. I also find the locking ring to be a very positive and safe blade lock. Classic design and excellent performance proven over the test of time. What’s not to like?
