Great to start with

I love this pattern. When i bought it i had literally not sewn anything in over a decade and even then i was far from experienced. I chose a calico cotton for my first attempt and was surprised how well it came out. The pictured instructions are easy to understand and giude you step by step through the whole process. Ovr the next week i made not one but THREE dresses from this pattern, each in a different cotton print and it gave the dress a completely new look every time. This pattern in great as the first historical dress to make for your 18 inch doll. I am very happy i bought this and would definitely recommend it

Wonderful Pattern

I bought this pattern for the lovely look of the dress. I happened to have the exact fabric in my leftovers and love how this tuned out. Mine looks almost exactly as the photo and my girls had a doll tea party as soon as I was finished. The directions were very well done. I did have a bit of trouble with the gloves but the pattern warned me of the fine line between gloves and "oven mitts" for AG dolls. I think this pattern was well written and I am happy I bought it. I would recommend this to others and will use this again with different fabric. Well done!
