UV Beads, 1000/pk.

I use these beads to show my students UV radiation from the sun is present on Earth. They design investigations to test the radiation and report back their results to the class after spring break. Some example near a window of their home or car; under trees, awnings, or water at the beach and in the pool; under shirts or sunglasses; and of course "how well does their suntan lotion really work"?

Students made bracelets with the beads and couldn’t wait to go outside to see what color they changed to.
