Premium French Horn Pro (Fixed Bell) Bag

Great bag.

I've had this for a few weeks now, after buying this to update a 28 year old gig bag that was finally getting pretty threadbare. It is my second Fusion bag - the first was for my Tenor Horn and I love that bag. I'm genuinely impressed with this one too. First, as with my other Fusion bag, the pockets are legion - they are everywhere, which really reduces the need to carry an extra bag for accessories. The protection is about as good as any gig bag can be without being a hard case with shoulder straps. The foam is robust and thick and the scary parts are reinforced (such as where the lead pipe is). The backpack straps are very comfortable and tuck away competely, and (unlike my T Horn bag) the waist strap can tuck away completely when you only want the shoulder straps. The main shoulder strap is also quite comfortable and (at least for me) is not prone to slipping off (which would be a deal breaker for sure). The handle is very comfortable, having a well cushioned underside, but also robust and well constructed with rivets to prevent failure with wear and tear. The included rain cover is also a very nice touch (and rare!). Well worth the price tag, and much appreciated Fusion. You've got a great product.

Great horn upgrade

My 11 year old son started playing the horn about a year ago and has really gotten into it. He is a part of two ensembles, takes private lessons, and has performances within the community a few times each month. Because of his size/age he could never carry his french horn himself with the case that came with it so I went on search to find something that he could manage on his own but would still be protective enough for a kid. I was also looking for something that e could carry all his accessories in so he would no longer need to carry multiple bags. This bag fit the bill and then some. I haven't ever been worried about the safety of his horn and he has been able to manage all of his things without my help. This bag has given him the independence he wanted and me the peace of mind.
