Not an essential, but a lovely product regardless.

Do you need to get these to be sustainable and move away from using paper towels? No, absolutely not. Are these nice and work well? Yes. As these are light in color, I assume that they will eventually stain and look off color, however I assume since they're cotton they're also going to be fairly easy to be stain treated (but also, they're cleaning cloths. Them looking pristine isn't really their main thing imo). We have ours rolled up and placed right next to our paper towels and reach for these first and they do their job v well. Usually for most light cleanings we'll give them a little rinse in the sink and then let them air dry, only tossing them into the lil' laundry bin we now have in our kitchen when it's time for them to get some TLC.
