Good color, too bright near base

The purple color is good - it wasn't lavender or magenta or pinkish. The LEDs near the base put out too much white light inside the plastic shell so the color is brighter near the base and darker at the far tip. It would be better with a thicker shell at the base or even better with a small reflector to throw more light toward the tip. Overall the lamps are good for halloween.
