Reading this tip could save you a headache

Lock cylinders and keys are perfect. Keys even have the Ford logo. Just remember they do not come with the C-clip that attaches the lever to the back of the locks, nor the mounting clip that holds the locks in the door handle. Although this hardware is typically reusable, I have found myself in the middle of a lock replacement job only to discover the clips are either rusted out beyond reusable or missing entirely. Think about picking up at least a C or E clip kit if you don’t have one already
