Thirty-Year Old Henry Makes Miraculous Recovery

I always thought that repairing a hoover was the sort of thing that was best left to professionals, until I watched the Vacuum Help diagnosis video on YouTube. It's full of practical advice, and explains things in such a relaxed, easy manner that I thought, "Yes! I can do this!" in spite of having no previous experience and a creeping distrust of electrical stuff. Got myself a multimeter, ran the test, then ordered the cable. I did consider buying from another seller since I thought I'd be hooverless for a couple of weeks, but I'd rather support this family-run business who prefer to keep old Henrys running than see them carted off to the dump. As it happened, the cable arrived a couple of days later and was a breeze to fit, thanks to Jonny's other video.
