First let me say I couldn't be happier to own this. The 1st thing I found out was I needed a courser grit lap so ordered a 60 grit which helped cut the time in half. So, as of right now I have used the 60g, 100g, 270g. I'm very pleased with the results so far. I do wish that I could have shared more videos and some pictures but this only allows one video or pictures. So, I choose to share the video. I wish more people would review this Covington Maxi as I could not find even one review of this other than an unboxing review. This is an incredible machine and worth paying the money out for a quality product. Best thing is you get to use the entire space of the grinding disk as these are magnetic and there is no bolt & nut in the center. We purchased the 8" which can be upgraded to a 10" plate which is also a plus. I have been using it for 2 or 3 hours at a time then let the motor cool down for about 30 to 45 minutes which is good for me as well to take a break. If you're looking for a quality product this is it.
