A different challenge

This was our first shaped puzzle, and we struggled until we figured out this puzzle shouldn't be approached in our typical way. We would normally put the entire outside edge in place then work inward from there, and in fact that was OK for the bottom of this puzzle, but the "blossoming part" needed to be be treated as a series of individual pictures that would be joined. This was a beautiful and fun challenge.
