Best Chamomile I've Ever Had!
When I had originally bought this tea I had no doubts about the freshness and quality, as I have previously purchased from this company last year with a 3 chai bundle!
Lately I have been feeling restless, and wanting a good quality nighttime tea that I can have and enjoy that's caffine free that helps with calmness. The thing is, every other Chamomile tea I've ever tried is always mixed with other ingredients and additives, or it was just the tea dust from the cheap tea bags, or the heads looked all crushed with a huge dust pile at the bottom of the bag. I wasn't satisfied, and I always had a slight distaste for chamomile because of it. I always felt every chamomile tea I had needed tons of honey, because I couldn't enjoy it any other way.
When I made this purchase, my expectations were high, and when it arrived (2 days early might I add), I excitedly ran home, grabbed my package, and excitedly waited until it was nighttime to make myself a cup!
Oh man, my expectations were BEYOND met!! When I had pured my first cup, the aroma was sooooooo delightful and beautiful! The tint of yellow that the whole buds created was just so pleasant! All of that, accompanied by such a nice, gentle, and deliciously calming taste. I brought out my honey beforehand expecting to need it, but as soon as I tasted this, I immediately put away my honey, because the quali-tea of this chamomile was just sooo nice!
I know that is probably a bit much for something as simple as whole chamomile, but I have never tried one nearly as pleasant as this, it is just so wonderful.
The taste is delicate, floral, and it has a slight natural sweetness that's present on the back of the tongue. It was such a nice, pleasant and delightful experience with the best chamimile I've ever had. I am sooo addicted, and I will surely be buying more in the future as my now go-to nightly cup of tea before bed!
I will stand on this hill for as long as time, Teabox is the BEST tea company! My personal favorite!
