Gold Springs are designed to 3,000 lbf / in and they don't break in or wear out. Silver Springs are designed to 2,700 lbf / in and they don't break in or wear out. Black Kingpins only have ~ 7mm of threads. Leave a thread or two showing past the locknut and your tuned up.
