Everything I hoped it would be

I wanted to start play surf music with my friends, and I needed an authentic spring reverb pedal to go with my G&L Doheny (look it up). Nothing sounded right, except the original Fender reverb unit, now selling in the US for THOUSANDS. In many ways, the True Spring Reverb is BETTER. To start, it emulates with maybe 95% accuracy the drippy sound of a spring reverb, either the Fender outboard model or the ones built in to Fender and Boogie amps. The front panel controls give you a lot of control. But it ALSO is a classic tremolo pedal! It imitates 3 kinds of tube tremolo, beautifully. The only limitation is that with just the pedal, the two effects are connected - hit the stomp button and you get both. There's an add-on footswitch so you can control them separately, but Echoinox was out of stock (HINT HINT). But this pedal is DEEP. There's an app (better on a PC) that lets you override the 3 presets (short reverb tank, long tank, outboard) and create your own sounds, and even reprogram how the controls work. I;ve just started digging into this. It's pretty powerful stuff, but so far I'm happy with the presets. Finally, kudos to Echoinox. I looked all over for this pedal. It's very popular, very hard to find and often expensive. And ordering online can be risky. Echoinox sold it at a great price, with FREE SHIPPING (to Thailand) and gave me great, personal support through email. I will go to them first the next time I need a pedal.
