Mixed feelings

My husband loves the clean lines and the look of it, as well as it helps him sit up straight. I admit I miss the two dimples in the seat of my 3-legged, backless, cobbler's stool - I think my butt must be more bony than his. For me, an inexpensive stadium seat cushion covered with a yarn hooked rug chair mat works better than either of the two stuffed chair cushions or the rubber shelf mat folded into quarters that I tried. It is nice to lean back on the back when I get tired, and I slouch forward less, but I have to make sure that my bra strap hooks aren't in the wrong place or my spine gets pushed off to one side slightly. I like that it feels sturdy to sit on, and that it is lightweight and can be lifted with one hand, and I also appreciate the cut-out handle for carrying the chair around. I suggest trying out the chair in person first before buying it. It works fine with my Ashford Traditional and Traveller wheels, as well as a desk chair when I'm using my computer. I got the unfinished version and it was straightforward to finish it with a polyurethane stain and assemble it. Paradise Fibers was having a "no shipping" deal when I bought it, which makes the downsides more acceptable.
