Hood hasn't been tried out yet!
I bought it for our son and his wife to use with their 7 month old. They hadn't attached the hood yet, so my husband put it on for them last week when we visited. They have still to try it out!
The hood seems easy enough to attach, and versatile.

More for rain, less for sun
Works good for rainfall protection. Good construction. Not perfect sun protection in northern latitudes; I have to supplement the carrier with some sunscreen on the kid's face and hands. Still a good buy.

VERY GOOD!!!
I previously bought the backpack for my dog and later this parasol. I live in Italy and I have received all the goods without problems (obviously with customs duties, but this certainly does not depend on this shop) :-)
