My First Pastelmat Experience

The most impressive thing was the possibility to make light layers above the dark ones. Softness of edges is also good for such drawings as portraits. In addition you can use pastel as underpainting.

First try

I have tried this paper just now with coloured pencils, copied a pic of two dogs of one of your books. Of course I used wrong colour paper, but it a learning experience. So far I think it’s great can’t wait to do more now.

I enjoyed reading and learning from this book.I have since bought a pastelmat pad with coloured pages, and have enjoyed working with this paper
