I purchased this 48 inch sweeper for my John Deere 1025R tractor, using it with a fork attachment. I have a lot of asphalt at my house, where I have lots of trees including pines, maples, elms, etc. The pine trees constantly rain pinecones and needles, and the other trees in season cause a flurry of seeds, etc. I have used a backpack leaf blower for many years, but it is not ideal for this use. The broom attachment lets me "broom" the drive with multiple passes, ending up with a concentrated pile of debris I can then snowshovel into my trash bins. This recurring (weekly) job has been made much easier. Now to see how well the boom holds up over time. I use the broom in "float" position with my loader/forks, so it seems to keep on the pavement regardless of bumps, etc in the pavement. So far, so good!
