We purchased Maruman (and Rhodia) notebooks in a variety of sizes and formats: lined, dots and graphs and are pleased with all of them. We also purchased Pilot E95s pens. Thank you Goulet Pen for your video on entry-level gold nib pens; we love them! We are currently using Pilot Iroshizuku Take-Sumi and Shin-Kai inks. Writing on this fine quality paper with our Pilot pens and inks has been a true pleasure; like gliding on ice! We are re-introducing ourselves to fountain pens and have been watching videos on Goulet Pen to guide our choices and find we simply cannot go wrong with any of the products that Goulet Pen offers when we pay attention to their recommendations as they pertain to our needs and preferences. We are delighted we found Goulet Pen! They offer a wide range of quality products (for every budget) for pens, inks, paper and stationary. The product descriptions and technical data are invaluable. Best of all are the videos! We studied a wide range of videos to make our choices on fountain pens, inks, notebooks, tablets and stationary. The videos are addictive; I cannot stop watching them for the education they provide. Brian, Drew and the team know the products and seem dedicated to educating any who want to learn about fountain pens, inks, paper and penmanship. We are excited to learn it all and have been finding new opportunities to re-invigorate our efforts in the art of correspondence.

Daily workhorse

After trying a lot of notebooks, I've settled on this A4 dot-grid as my favorite. I have big hands and big handwriting, so the A4 size is just right. The paper shows just a touch of sheen and shading from my favorite inks. This notebook is a staple for me.

Recently bought for class

Overall I generally really like the Mnemosyne notebooks, they’re sturdy, the paper is good, they have a nice layout. But the one I bought had some mild feathering issues when writing on the edges of the page and I’m not sure why that happened but it’s a little disappointing. It’s a pretty minor issue though and otherwise I am happy with my notebook.
