This mat is perfect. Plenty of cushion, and the feedback is amazing—you can really feel the difference between fat and thin shots. I got it specifically for hitting irons, and it’s great for that. If you're planning to hit woods, though, I’d recommend going with the next size up. I keep this in the trunk with my clubs, find an open field, plop it down, and boom—instant wedge or short iron practice session. It’s a quality mat, and for the money, you really can’t beat it. I recommend it to my golf buddies all the time!
