Travelpro FlightCrew5 22" Rollaboard: Durable Luggage for Aviation Professionals

My husband was completely wowed with the FlightCrew 5 Rollaboard! He's had several Samsonites which keep falling apart - a wheel broke on his most recent one, and zippers and handles have broken on others. The FlightCrew 5 has rollerskating wheels that are meant to roll for miles and miles and miles -much sturdier than Samsonite's plastic wheels. The FlightCrew's zippers are beefier but still operate smoothly. The pop-up handle slides in and out smoothly and feels much sturdier too. And all of the well-designed pockets on this Rollaboard are a delightful surprise as well. This will be my next carryon suitcase when I need to replace my American Tourister!

The wheels roll smoothly, the handle is solid, and the overall build quality gives confidence that it will hold up over time. The interior space is well organized and easily fits everything needed for a short trip. It also holds up well to the wear and tear that comes with constant travel. One thing to be aware of is the size when it comes to overhead bins. While the 22" size fits in most overhead compartments without any problem, there are a few smaller regional aircraft where it may be a tight fit. This isn’t unusual for carry-ons of this size, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you fly on smaller planes. Overall, this is a dependable, professional-grade carry-on that performs exactly as expected. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for durable, reliable luggage.
