Yes, I have an electronic tuner, but there is nothing there to compare with striking the fork to start it vibrating, and then pressing the bottom of the fork against the protruding skull bone behind my ear. That gives me such a strong and lasting "pitch impression" that I have plenty of time to tune the A string and go from there. I have used many forks, and this one is by far the best in terms of strength and clarity of sound!
