Stick to the D12-3

Flies amazing on a d12-3! Perfect takeoff and coast with a spectacular deployment. Will look to modify mine to use 1 larger chute for both the capsule and the tower as my parachutes tangled and produced a harder landing. As far as the Aerotech composite motors, they don't fit. While they have the same case length as the D12s, the larger ejection charge well caused the tower to not fully seat in the tube. I decided to fly anyways with the motor just sticking out the bottom of the motor tube. The E30-4T produced a much larger acceleration and caused the tower to eject under coast, causing no parachute deployment and an even harder landing than before. Repairs will sadly be necessary but easily capable and will fly again next month! All in all a fun different kit! Just make sure to follow the instructions and just fly on the D12-3!
